Think last weekend and the Accrington game been played on the Wednesday May have caught up with them a bit. Lincoln played well and we didn't really match them at times but we're unbeaten and the other results went for us
Think we will look back at this as a great point. Keeps our momentum up. A loss would have been very damaging.
Anyone got any idea why he penalised wyke when mcgeady ran through? Wyke gen kicked, pushed, pulled etc etc and got nothing. There was minimal contact with 3 foot bridcutt who actually played him first? So he missed a blatant last man pull on Winchester, a blatant penalty for us and he saw something in that? Been called paranoid but dies anybody blame me?
Could ultimately be the point that gets us up, so not too disconcerted. Some of our players need a well earned rest. Lincoln still have to play Hull at home and Peterborough away, and they are still in the mix.
We've been on a great run but looking at the results today shows how vulnerable our rivals are. I'm more convinced after today we'll take an automatic. Weeks rest will do us a great favour.
Blew it like we did at Portsmouth, blew it like we did at Wembley, blew it like we did at Accrington Get a grip man, the only problem today was that a very good team also wanted to win. Did Hull blow it, did Lincoln blow it, did Peterborough blow ffs. The top 6 all drew, did they all blow it?
I still believe we will be top 2 in April... and keep at it. Also just realised we have no game midweek, so players get some rest. Looks like they need it
Hull and Peterborough would have earmarked today as the day our momentum and charge towards them stops, and they’re able to put more space between us. They haven’t been able to. Can understand people being disappointed we didn’t win, as am I. I just think considering other results, not losing was more important than winning.
Very poor referee, thought we just had the edge but probably a fair result, main thing is we didn’t throw it away. I expected Hull and Peterborough to win today so it’s not the end of the world.
I agree, but the fact remains its us that need to make ground and this was a chance missed, the fact that they could easily have won the game shows we are looking a bit jaded and needed to inject some fresh legs on before we did. All in all a bit of a let down but we will bounce back. any thought this would be a walk in the park it was never on, and we are still in with a chance, itas all we can ask for. OaU
Can’t expect to win every game, 3 games in 6 days and all very intense ones, we’ve come out with 4 points, a trophy and made ground on the teams above and below. Nice week off for us now, important we win next week I think.
I don’t disagree with any of this - but our time to make up the points will be the games where we don’t play the team that are 4th and have been around the top 2 all season. The other guys will drop points against weaker teams. We need to ensure we don’t against the weaker ones.
No Harm done. We move on. Just had a look at the table every team will be saying "if only" tonight Top six all drew In fact only one winner in the top 9
There was a few what ifs with the referee - Winchester pulled back, definitely penalty and with McGeady being pulled back when through in the second half. Yes it's disappointing not winning but with the top 2 also drawing with teams not in the promotion mix as such, it's not a bad result. Remember if it wasn't for Burge making good saves we could've been beaten
Knee jerk ****e. Haway man our form has been mint - we were never going to win every game - also having a go at Burge - he kept us in the game today with 3 or 4 class saves but you focus on the negative - Have a day off man you negative ****e.
