Our **** passing causes us so many problems because we commit so many bodies forward. Rodon got that yellow because of our utter **** passing. Sometimes I actually think that they don't look up. Sunderland back into it. We needed a goal when we were dominant
We look a bit more creative in midfield with Tanaka and Rothwell but my God we are so open defensively. Scarily.
Decent half. We had to soak up the early pressure but failed to do so. However, we thoroughly deserved the equaliser and are unfortunate not to get a 2nd goal. The central midfield duo really need to get to grips with Bellingham. He's been given too much space on the edge of our area. My worry is that we haven't much on the bench and we will tire given the 3 games in 6 days. At the moment Sunderland have the better bench and we might have to hold on towards the end of the match. I'd take a draw now.
Good first half, especially for a neutral. They are top and at home but we had them on the ropes but didn’t capitalise. Interesting second half incoming, international break after this so they can run themselves into the ground as we dont have a very strong bench.
