Maybe not in your lifetime, but there have been many **** ups by keepers over the years in mine, but it wasn't highlighted because TV coverage wasn't as extensive as it is now. <ok>

Rodon is slipping down the admiration league…..fast, needs to concentrate on his team and fck the national side that’s poor anyway.

Yes Meslier fcuked up, but he wasn't laughing about it after. Mes and Regis Le Bris who he knows from his days at Lorient shared a moment...

I’ve been reading a few other forums and social media posts, I think it’s close between who’s getting the biggest laugh tonight, Meslier for his blunder or Sunderland having a half empty stand before the goal, then we have one popping in here admitting to missing the end, hilarious really

Gnonto was class tonight, took some kickings and didnt react, getting their players yellow cards.
    Credit where it’s due.

Meslier should be investigated for betting, the 2 second pen delay diving at Norwich and tonight's howler,I recon there's some big money wins on draws somewhere. <grr>

We played well. Farke had changed things around a bit tactically, better use of long balls and god forbid but a number 9 scored from a cross in to the box!
The central midfield combo looked good and dare I say it appeared a bit more progressive than our usuals. Gnonto was fab, one of his best games for us and he just appears to be getting better with each game at the moment.
Thought Ramazzani was quiet and should have done better in the first half.
I dislike Meslier as a goalkeeper and have done for a couple of seasons. We cannot trot out the tired old excuse (because that is what it is) that he's young, that he will be a good keeper because he has played enough for us now.
He appears to never control his area, the time he takes on his distribution is generally awful, that forward ball he insists on playing out lands us in trouble on so many occasions and yet he insists on doing it.
The howler was what it was, we move on. Only thing I will say about it is that a player in his position, being paid what he gets paid should never switch off and allow that to happen.
Sunderland are a good side riding high in their gaff but apart from a couple of periods where they threatened (mostly without creating any real threat) we controlled the game.
Looks like a poor league this year.

Mes does make some great saves but you'd expect a good keeper to do that. He didn't get near an awful penalty at Norwich and he's completely fkd up last night but is Darlow good enough to step in?
