Cracking thread as usual. Both teams not playing particularly well and both teams not scoring a lot of goals. Ipswich don’t appear to travel well so a low scoring close game with a home win or low scoring score draw. Get ready for a 5-4. :emoticon-0136-giggl

After that horrendous tackle I'm surprised O’Nien is OK ...

    ... he's some lad.

Top thread as per usual and I really really like the team you put out.
Have you thought about applying for the job when the new blokes take over. :emoticon-0137-clapp

Was the same against Pompey wasn’t it. Definitely not confident of a win.

I didn't feel confident against Portsmouth as they are a bit of a bogey team. I fancy us for this one though.

Voted Ipswich. I believe they will do a Pompey and come to win.
Gutted to do that and hope I am wrong.

It is a bit mad - I suppose that's the only option.

    cheers RTB.

never ever liked games against either these or norwich, no idea why but they always seemed to be boring 'no fecker can be arsed to play' type games...i expect no unforced changes to the team, hope hume manages to be more involved as felt he was a tad quiet on sarrada, then whoever this weeks scapegoat is 'up top' should at least get plenty service from both sides.

seen a few posts along the lines of 'hard to get excited'...'not really celebrating goals as i used to' etc etc and i am pretty much the same...my own thoughts are we have slipped back into the ways of being built up (only 3 points behind with games in hand) only to blow it in style, going to need a good run with convincing wins before we can allow ourselves a small sweet sherry or two.

waiting for parky's 'presser' (sic) to see if he starts with 'always a difficult place to go is sunderland...........'

Friend of mine is a season ticket holder for Plymouth and he comes highly rated. They were hoping to keep him but his wife needed to be further north for family reasons and Covid. When I said he is cover for Hume he said doubt he would be for cover as he is better than that. Not reading too much into that as Plymouth were playing in Division 2 last season. It will be interesting to see this one and what happens with Hume and his contract.

He's come in very quietly but I think some will be surprised at how good he is for this level, same goes for Sanderson. As we're playing two games a week I hope it's a case of 'as well as' not 'instead of'.

They give us options and more pace available. I think either could play higher up the pitch at this level.
