Big assumption. The players we have are capable of more than they're delivering, we saw that with Slutsky from time to time even though they weren't his own players. I think it was right for Slutsky to go but Adkins seems to be getting less out of the squad.
I've been thinking all season that we'll stay up because there's 3 teams worse than us but after watching that ****e I'm losing my nerve. Sunderland were poor and there for the taking but we sat back and let them take the game to us. They grew in confidence and we were devoid of ideas, craft and effort. The amount of poor passes we hit was alarming. The lack of movement when trying to forge an attack and the lack of composure when we did create some half chances was frustrating. Substitutions changed nothing. For the last five minutes they brought on a little fat dwarf who got the ball and kept it in the corner and we couldn't get it off him.
This 100%. I can cope with relegation, it’s the lack of ambition & all round ****e atmosphere that’s leading me to feel like I just don’t care anymore. Maybe that’s the master plan from Ehab?
Not really sure how good our chances were. We were attacking the other end second half. Looked to me that their keeper made a decent save for one. Couple of others flashed wide. That was about it. We looked better second half and took the game to them but didn't create a great deal.
Thing is last but one presser, Adkins came out with "the owners want to succed and we need to build for the long term" But there's no evidence for it
The players we have can't seem to last a season or string a good run of games together, the fitness is just lacking and I don't know how that can be magically remedied. Toral by all accounts was really bad today but has been promising before that. Maybe he's another we brought in, like Campbell, who just has fitness issues. I don't think we ever replaced Livermore.
The problem with this window is simple.... we don't need one or two or three, or four... we need probably 6.... any agent will have our pants down (as much as Escab would love that) and ultimately ANY asking price will not be met... any direct approach to any club like the lad at Aberdeen will be rebuffed, we're a club going nowhere and quickly.... IT AINT HAPPENING AND WILL NOT HAPPEN...

And look like defences were scared of us going forward... where Bowen looked like scoring all the time... under Adkins his value has plummeted..
