Had never really heard of Pickford before yesterday, he's a bloody great find for you. Him in goal, Defoe and Anchiebe up front, you'll manage to stay up again. I still think you'd be better going down, having a proper clear out, season of winning games and a promotion at some point. Much more fun for fans.
Even though I was pleased to see Tymon get his debut yesterday, I was sorry to see that MP didn't keep with 352, even though with Southampton he did change it after we lost Hernandez and Keane. I think we would have been better suited to have played Harry at the back with Davies and Dawson, Harry would have stood up to Anichebe better, and Elmo frankly just isn't a right back and is a liability there and more suited to wing back.
If I had a quid for every time Burnsey said : 'Dear dear'. I'd have enough for a pint, fish and chips and a sherbet fountain.. Though I do like the fella
Victor Anichebe, after 10 years, has just scored 8% of his career goals against us in 22 minutes. Less Anichebe 'always looked dangerous' and more our defence always looking a chaotic clusterfuck since Phelan took charge. There is no organisation, the whole team is in complete disarray.
Try telling him that, he thinks they're wonderful and his colleagues must be ****s for not getting on the end of them.
I guess it's not his fault Phelan didn't sign a 20 foot forward who hangs around at the far edge of the penalty area
People are sneering at my sexuality? Haha. I have Castro and Bengal on Ignore so if it was them I didn't notice.
Just watched the lowlights. ****ing hell not seen anyone mention the absolute **** up Dawson made of the first goal. Thought him and Davies were shocking for the second too. Plus Marshall, poor. Clucas nowhere for the third but again Dawson and Davies poor positioning.
They didn't need to worry about that, the referee was never going to give a penalty yesterday. There were four clear penalties in the game, one for Sunderland and three for us and he bottled them all.
