Man U away. Already booked hotel, get on the Dry Barge , takes you from Salford (i think) to right outside the ground. Bar open for the journey , been on it before , about £12.

The most annoying thing today was their fans not even bothering to stay and clap off their team after their first home win in months. The place was half empty before they even scored the third.

Now I know our fans aren't the best but that was poor, Sunderland's away fans are some of the best in the country but their home support is dire, even if they do get good numbers.

Just watched MOTD.... two immediate thoughts, Marshall crap (Championship keeper at best) and Snodgrass wont be here after January.

Marshall in goal - well done those who asked for it <doh>

No strikers - the true problem.

I like Liz, had tea with her once, she's canny. :emoticon-0152-heart

    3 - 0 doesn't lie.

I think Marshall is ok. It's the other 10 in front of him. You can replace the keeper with whoever you like , but won't affect the 0 goals scored. Phelan's not great but don't blame him for everything. The Allams are the root cause. Villa seem to be doing well. Manager of the month soon for Brucey ?

Who was the idiot who was screaming down the house that we needed to put the 'better' keeper in Marshall in goal over Jak?

Yep. It's baffling how Sunderland can be worse than us, according to the table, yet have Defoe up front with Anichebe, who always looks really dangerous whenever I've seen him, not even making the team until recently.

We always seem to have everything but a few decent strikers. This year obviously we have more problems than just that but the same old striker issue is there as always.

Yes, they'll win games like today, despite being worse than us because they have PL proven players. Long and Jelavic were our best pairing in the PL. At least they looked a threat.

He'd given us strong hints a couple of times before, but not as overtly as in his latest piece of attention seeking ... just like Freddie Mercury, but without the teeth or the talent.

Good three points for us. Strikers scoring, clean sheet, Pickford's star continues to rise.

Imagine it's a bitter pill to swallow for you lot. You'll bounce back.

Unless both sides improve there's a strong chance we'll be playing in the championship next season.

Marshall should have saved the second goal but all 3 were poor defending. The pressures on the non scoring forwards/midfield even more when we defend like that.
I realise we didn't have a transfer plan but surley someone must have thought about buying a right back!!! It's an absolute abortion that we didn't get one and thought Elmo could do it

    What happened to 3-5-2?
I only watched it on MOTD to be fair so feel free to correct me, but Elmo at right back in a 4 always seems worrying. Tymon debut in that formation also meant he had less support for any mistakes too...surely?

Glad for Tyron starting by the way, I'd have just preferred him on the left of a midfield 5 instead

    Can't accomodate Snoddy in a 3-5-2 apparently.
