Don't blame the players, don't blame Phelan, blame the Allam's, they're the one's that have created this situation. I wonder if they'll enjoy having the ruination of a football club on their CV, I actually think that they will. The self serving vindictive ****s!
Totally agree. Brucie with a reasonable investment to build on last seasons squad would have had us half way up this league. Sunderland were absolutely awful
I really pity the fans that travelled all the way up there to be served that pile of ****. I could not even be bothered to go to the pub to watch and streamed it from the warmth of my living room.
I'm not super fussed if we go down again. What I am fussed about is player development , getting a solid team spirit and making sure we can compete immediately back in the championship. Biggest fear is players fleeing a singing ship and we have to start back from the bottom with scraps and it takes us years before we become competitive and mount another promotion challenge.
There is no excuse the players and manager get paid shedloads not normal wages like us,they only have to go out and play once or twice a week for that huge wage there is no reason they should not perform it is what they get paid well to do. I am pretty sure most on here would go on the field and play till they can't stand up to get that wage and wear the shirt.
Think its harsh to blame the Managers and players for this, we all knew this was coming. Start the season with 13 players, sack coaches when boarding coaches, lose backroom staff to Villa, it's just a disjointed shambles and that blame lies with the Allams. ****s.
