aint that the truth, while he tried to fall over a lot rather than try to win the ball he wanted to win a foul. stewart far more mobile and winning more balls, does not stand in one place making it easy to mark him. don't mind some long balls as it is good to mix things up a bit but we really were becoming very one dimensional.
When we play them, we know Wyke is going to be looking for a foul, so a sly fox of a manager should have a winning play up his sleeve for that scenario
are they longer like, if so i will have a complaint when i say my prayers tonight, for somewhere nice to put it
hee hee hee, you just had to... i know what you mean mind but going back to what @Smug said earlier, hull looked 'over coached' as if trying too hard to follow a set style of play and it seemed to hinder them, with gooch you never know what you will get...when he does get himself clear it usually means a good attack is on the way, when he gets stuck it can be quite 'hair pulling' time, but i like that, someone prepared to take them on, never knowing wtf he will do next.
First half was a joy to watch. Must say having 3 of a back four that are confident on the ball and can pass it accurately is marvelous to watch even tho - or because - both full backs are midfielders. Embelton will give us goals this season (double figures if he stays injury free) and will supply as many again for mobile forwards. Hawkes may not start regularly next season but what a backup to have on the bench. KTF
