Wonder why Grigg didn’t take the 2nd pen?

Bonus is us scoring from four corners in the last three matches, step up Grant Leadbitter and a decent delivery.

McGeady is having his highest scoring season - I think that's 10 for him now.

But why didn’t Grigg take it after he sent the goalie the wrong way for the 1st?

Some players get superstitious about taking more than one in a game, that’s the only thing I can think of

McGeady is official pen taker mate, handed it to Grigg to get off the mark.

Nice bit of team camerarderie I’d say but absolutely you’d grab the 2nd.

Oh aye, we’ve seen these things go wrong!

I though v Accrington he looked too desperate to score this should calm him down.

Great a record as he has at this level, the clubs another level, off the mark now hopefully he just breathes and does his thing.

He was Wigan's main Penner taker. Aiden was passing it over to safe hands.

That's a ****ing relief. Luton are romping it, so we really need to keep the pressure on Barnsley.

An impact injury according to Jack Ross - too early to say he will be assessed tomorrow

I think Arsenal hold the all time record of 55, but we will beat that now and go up as well with Barnsley and Portsmouth slipping up !, and they meet on Saturday. We are the best attacking team in the league, just need to get the defence tighter. I was there and should have had another pen ! but ripped them and were miles better. maguire tried to play on and looked a nasty injury, he nearly latched onto a ball in doing so. Cattermole was very good again.

Barnsley are at Portsmouth on Saturday and they were dreadful against Burton tonight.

We win at Bristol and Barnsley then the whole thing changes.

There was some bell end on the radio slating Jack Ross for playing Cattermole (who was very good tonight) had a massive agenda with him (as a number do)

When he was questioned with the stat that Sunderland, this season, on average, have won more with him that without he made some ****e up. Want bbc radio Newcastle to ring him back first tomorrow night! He was the last caller tonight and a complete prick.
