Agree, Wright is critical. Would have won yesterday and would have made the playoffs last year if he didn’t get injured. With him back I think if we have enough new players come in to keep power and Flannigan out of the team we might be ok at least fir playoffs. I was a bit worried LJ rated him highly enough to put him in ahead of Sanderson better forward than O’Brien would be nice too. Keeper is an issue too but not sure if we can fix everything at once. Edit: Just seen we signed Stewart. I wonder if we have enough for promotion now. We might have signed four starters.
thought i would watch the highlights again, stopping and frame advancing to see all the mistake, And me like a daft sod willing us on when i already know the score. But the biggest thing to come out of watching that again was Geads goal and his well worked run to get the penna, how bad Burge was and i defy anyone to watch that again slow mowing the action forward, and tell me after watching that Bruge was anything more than a Rabbit in the headlamps , i even surprised myself and though he cant be that bad but alas yes he is and before anybody takes me to task please watch again and surprise yourself as i did.
Are you talking about the first or second equalizer, Roger? I thought Flannagan's effort was more goal worthy than the first equalizer; but on the second, just like the last time the masses were screaming for Burge's scalp - it's all because of Willis. He was completely dominated by their center forward, so much so that he was able to pick out, and place the ball cleanly in the path of the unmarked attacker. I'd much rather have that giant that Ipswich have on loan from Arsenal's U23's.
the second goal he let in i thought the first goal he had enough time but give him the benefit of the doubt but the second was a horror show swiping at the ball bad positioning as bad as the ones he replaced there must be better out there there is the whole of Europe and beyond
“I’m frustrated because it was naivety in the final five or six minutes. We have generally been good at dealing with that.” I think I prefer the good old sports cliches to POMO's cryptic nonsense.
