I think he'll need another week of hard training before he makes the bench. Once he's considered match fit, he'll be in the match squad. No doubt about that.
There has been some improvement mate I`ll grant you that but it`s been a long time coming and I`m yet to be convinced. Winning a game when he starts might help a bit.
MOD thread mackem style A good result on Monday and you may need to keep these going Marcus - if only for continuity purposes
Well I'm enjoying my season off so thanks to Marcus and Giacc for stepping up so we still get informative match threads.
Have to say I enjoy doing it but had no idea how time consuming it was... All good though but I suppose me faffing on with pictures won't help that. I should create a macro or batch file to open all the websites I need before I start the thread... But that's be too easy
The more organised you are the quicker they are to complete. I had home and away full templates saved onto word. I'd just copy and paste and take some of the subsections out to keep it ever changing and fresh. Then it was just a matter of filling it in. Once you're used to your sites of choice it will become impulse and you're flying before you know it. Still haven't done a banner yet. Would you still like one or are you enjoying doing your own? Again, organising graphic templates is the key to doing them quick. Did you know? Nick Barnes is still so old school with his prep that it takes all week. Got to respect the graft and proving old school still works. Of course, his prep is for radio but still requires the research. I love Barnsey's Match book. Sunderland have a clean bill of health following the international break with no fresh injury worries ahead of Monday's visit of Everton. The game will come too soon for Jan Kirchhoff and Victor Anichebe, who are expected to be on the bench, and manager David Moyes says it will probably be too early for Didier Ndong too. Meanwhile, Lamine Kone is to sit down with Moyes next week with a view to signing a new deal. Lee Cattermole has also returned to training.
To be fair, I've not done a thing yet, Marcus is doing s grand job. Always said I'm happy to fill in when required though
Didier Ndong is available for Monday. French FA have confirmed he doesn't have a ban to carry over. Don't think he'll start but I'm sure we'll see him at some point.
Have to say I've enjoyed all of Moyes press conferences except the pre match one. My opinion is that every answer to any journey who starts a question "in your time at Everton..." Should be "this is a Sunderland press conference. I'm not at Everton any more!" I understand he had a great time at Everton. Did amazing things with little cash. But this was an Everton conference with a bit of man Utd thrown in by the journos (which was the best bit response wise IMO) Ten minutes and very little Sunderland in the press conference
I'd be tempted to swap Rodwell for Gooch. NDong will beon the bench, french FA have confirmed he doesnt have a suspension, hopefully mcnair will be the one dropped (I cant see Moyes dropping Rodwell)
That seems like last week but the shoe is on the other foot I am afraid now. And where is Ndong for Monday ?. Lakaku has not a league goal for about 15 games !
