I did expect us to get somewhere near them. We didn't. Brown, Bramble and Ji (in 10 minutes!) were our best players. Bendtner started well then never saw the ball.
I expected to see highly paid Premiership players give higher paid Premiership players a game. I wasn't expecting us to beat Chelsea but was expecting us to try. If it hadn't been for Brown the score could have been much worse. We were set up wrong again, as far as I remember only two passes reached Marmite one header if you were super critical and say he could have done better with, one too feet that was well smothered by Chelsea.
