Comparing him to Moyes is pretty damning by anyone standards. That squad minus the players who are obviously leaving is nowhere near a top six squad. With them I don't think so either cause they don't care.
Which players are obviously leaving? Lens looks probable but there's been no concrete interest or bids for anyone else
We have seen this sort of collapse before, many times, from basically the same bunch of players, it is Grayson's first glimpse, the guy needs time to attempt to put it right, give him a chance.
Kone and Lens, quite possibly Khazri, Wouldn't make that position if we keep them imo. Edit, you're not even putting them in your own team so you know full well.
"**** Lee Rigby he won't be ****ing drumming anymore". Typical Glasgow 'banter', met loads of them in the forces coincidentally and they were always obsessed with coming up with the most repulsive things to say. Hopefully that fat bastard and his little pansy boyband get a good ****ing hammering when they're identified.
I have Khazri starting and would have Lens but I think he'll be injured still. Kone would be the best centre half at the club and maybe even the league if he gave his all. Grayson needs to make an example of him after Saturday
Last I looked Steele, Jones, Matthews, Galloway, O'Shea, Browning, Cattermole, Gibson and Ndong were all also responsible for what went on in that half of the pitch and they were all awful. Can't be singling people out after such an all round terrible performance. It's not the way to treat people.
A friendly is a friendly mate, always been that way for me. 11 players with go out and enjoy, nothing more, there's no way Grayson would have any stats or nowt on Celtic, just a one off encounter to celebrate the 20 years at the Stadium. We beat Athletico Madrid 3-1 in a pre-season not so long back and I'm sure it is the year they won the title. Grayson might of got a feedback on our players attitude and that has to be a plus. We won't set the league on fire this season but if he can get rid of the **** before the end of August then that has to be a plus. Oh and Ellis Short is a total ****..
I think, despite my dislike for the lad as a human being there's always the point that Kone is by far and away the best CB at the club. I wish he'd **** off, but if I'm picking the team Friday and he's still here, he plays. We can but hope the competitive nature brings some good out, who knows a decent start and some of them might start playing again. We have to hope for positives.
You're probably right but how many good games has he actually had for us? Everton and Chelsea last season, are there many more? His handling of Steele's stupid pass was embarrassing and he can't pass the ball himself to save his life. Struggling to think of why we rate him really, think he's still dining out on a few good performances.
