"but nothing like the obsessives from down there that haunt this board for bad news" Sparky,I don't know which is larger, your hypocrisy, or your disingenuousness. On the other this board, not to mention your team, have been providing the world with good "bad news" all season. Thanks for that.
Anyone would think Swansea were a top half side with great support and a huge stadium. Monk is a mug who'll never manage another Premier League side in his life.
VETCH - since when did I haunt your board for bad news? Nothing hypocritical nor disingenuous in my earlier comment about you lot, whereas you've just taken the opportunity to come out of your shell to do exactly that. We have no place to hide at the moment and must accept the "forum-speak" for what it is - it's only words on a computer screen for Christ's sake, not bloody ethnic cleansing. As I said, if it was the other way around, so would be the direction of the comments being made. I must say, Bob's fly-paper thread sucked you in with the rest like a good 'un - thought you were above that sort of thing........
Sparkey,we've known each other for too many years for you to seriously cavil my observation. I'm not sure what "shell" I have come out of. Your third para merely confirms my earlier post. Who is Bob?
I see your board is plagued by your nearest rivals, we get the same from the monochrome skunks up the road. As for the game, the first half was obviously more even, Wickham got one good goal..then the sending off, your defender did foul him, and it may have been outside the box, definitely a red then, goal scoring opportunity, but should it have been a penalty? that for me was a moot point. Mind I thought your goalie may have fouled Wickham as well. In the first half for us I though Wes Brown stood out as a 'rock' when you were down to 10 men our defence did not have that much to do. I certainly have other candidates before Cardiff for relegation (not that we are out of the running, we have manure at the silage heap next up then two games W Bron and Swansea)..good luck for your remaining games (the skunks and chavski?), and well done for your away support. We have had Southampton up at the SoL 3 times this season and I think they have all been 12.00hrs start so a very early setting of for supporters (typical Sky/TV stuff the travelling fans). Particularly in the 2nd half you were not much of a goal threat, but that was true in the 1st half also. That used to be us until a few games ago and what a difference a goal scorer can make. Campbell looked useful and needed support and probably not from the guy who was having a running battle with Catts but did little football wise. Wickham has had support and it shows what can happen.
Yet strangely you felt a need to respond with this! So are Swansea a top half side? No Do Swansea have a mssive support? Average 20391 (Lowest in the Premier League) - answers itself Will Gary Monk get a premier league job after Swansea? I doubt it So tell me what, exactly, is foolish about speaking nothing but the truth?!
VETCH - if you look at what I actually wrote, you will see it was a general remark (I said "you lot") regarding Swan posters - don't be so sensitive old fruit......... As for who is Bob?........he used to be known as Bobbankterrace on the old Beeb 606 before he got reduced to a number by the Beeb mods....... Hence the new name for over here ITIWRAN, and now has become a collection of other letters - work it out.
Monk is fortunate to have some quality players including Bony. Monk is an interim manager and will surely be replaced by a foreign import in the summer. if not then I suspect (if not anyway due to the low wages they pay) Bony and others will be off. One of the good things about our relegation is we don't have to suffer matches versus swansea next season. I for one hate those derby games.
VETCH! Marcus and Sparkey seem to be tying you in knots fella. You appear to be losing your touch. I can't see Monk lasting half a season if he does manage to keep the managers job, and you can say goodbye to the Spanish contingent.
Swansea finished 9th last season and well above you shower of crap, and we finished well above you again the season before that, and will do the same again this season you numpty! Anyone would think you hadn't been sat in the drop zone all season.........
Marcus, I think they (some jacks) seem bitter because bbc wales in Cardiff staff laughed on air by all accounts at redundancies in the Swansea area>>>>either that or where I come from we call it a chip on the shoulder syndrome good luck in your fight for the top flight butty>>>>you deserved your 3pts yesterday for sure.
phil talking about smacking>>>>fk me vetch has taken one hell of a beating in public by the deadly duo today
