I may be wrong, but when I have been managing teams in the lower leagues and I happen to inherit players from a team that has just been relegated from the Premier League I may think these players though poor in the league they were in will somehow do the job in the Championship. I mean a **** striker in the Premier League could prove prolific in the lower leagues based on the perceived poor quality of defenders of the opposition.
Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way in reality. Probably Grayson thought more or less along similar lines.

 

Apart from the fact he bought the strikers cos we didn’t have any of course...

 

In reality we spent no money on strikers and needed two impact players to replace those that have departed, we didn't and are now paying the price.

 

We are in agreement as I think hes on really thin ice now and could be sunk if we don't beat Fulham and/or Preston - dodgy times ahead (same type wr've had too many times.
But my club always has my support or my life up to now will have a big empty space on the shallow side.
We need to keep positive imo
