Am surprised our neighbours lost today. I thought their last result would have given much confidence to their lads.
Look on the bright side at least Cardiff are plummeting down the table with that thick twat Warnock in charge.
I witnessed the worst first half of football in 40 years today and little Brentford took the piss !, all the talk from Coleman and the players about how they want to start then Ipswich all over again, dross is the best word, feeble, too slow. We will not win another game this season I think I will duff the Boro game and I would advise you lot to. I nearly buggered of at half time against Ipswich but stopped and sadly did the same today. Short has to be accountable for this mess though, and should have to balance the books or the F A should make him and other owners as it is their fault. We went down with 15 points 2 year ago and yet made the play offs that season, so how the hell can we be so bad ?.
Useless ****s. The team choice was odd though - Why the **** start with 3 centre-halves in a back 4, and not Matthews? Is Oviedo Injured? Reading through some commentary, JOS and Catts at the heart of some shambolic defensive dithering. Start looking forward to Fleetwood, Gillingham and Wimbledon games next year... what a time to come back to Blighty, eh.
I asked the same questions, as soon as I saw the line up it did not look right, and that's a bit worrying, but the problems run deeper as you have hinted, and that's the real worry here. We have missed Wilson and Gibson, not that they are world beaters, but they are light years ahead of some I could mention.
It's so quiet on here, eirie in fact. They've knocked the stuffing out of all of us. The worst team I've seen over there , my 1st game was 1970. We'll be luck to get 36 points.
Matthews just back from injury is all I can think? Not quite ready for full 90 and I guess it’s a case of hope it works and we get the lead then bring on the better defender. All ****ed up by some totally inept foitball. I’d forgotten about Gibson tbh. But yeah we miss him and Wilson
imo Administrators will run the club better, problem is the longer it takes for them to step in, the harder it will be for them to save us, and I can see Short seeing this through until the bitter end until it's forced. If/when we go down, Short should put us into administration optionally, but he won't and it it will ruin us beyond repair if it's not already beyond repair already.
I fear Short will walk away when we get relegated and the FA will invoke administration and that will doom us to Division 2. It just dosent bear thinking about but it could be our future. This after I was feeling quite positive at 3pm
It might not ruin us beyond repair but i don't think any club that goes down these days can expect anything other than just being fodda if you manage to get up again what a horrible thought to be perpetual s hite for ever more the Prem can't collapse quick enough for me Bri.
Thought this season was going to be a struggle but that it would turn around in the new year and you;d be safe. I'm still not entirely resigned to relegation but it does look bleak. Short has no excuses, he had an offer on the club in the summer and said the new owners weren't a good fit for the club, not sure how you can then square that with his actions since - a total ****tard. He's hoping that you pull it out the bag and still have some value next summer, sell NDong, Lens, Borini, Khazri and Kone whilst letting a bunch of others go in the summer to free up wages and some small amount of money for Coleman. My guess - and it is a guess - is that Coleman came on the promise that if he could keep you up then there'd be some actual money in the summer once the financial burdens on the club are less. It's all going swiftly to **** though. Need some results and fast. There is no way relegation is anything other than financial suicide.
The point you make about the offer on the club is a good one. Could be that Short thought that if he sold off the assets (players) but kept us in the championship we'd still have about the same value as a club but he would have scraped a bit more back.
