Vaughan if used needs to be paired anyway, that ball would have been through the air had he been on. Credit to Grayson trying to get us playing the ball on the deck more, been far too much up and under this season. The result has been a bit flat though apart from the goal.
Need to push on and win now. A draw isn't good enough, Burton and Bolton are the two worst teams in the league, both should be nailed on for relegation. A draw/loss and potential 5 point gap to 21st is a barrier forming before a few trickier games. Come on! Sunderland are the better team and need to prove it - I do worry that Grayson can get them believing it. Huge 45 minutes in his tenure for me (and i usually hate people over-egging things this early on in the season but it feels big to me).
He's gone the Vaughan route. 442, Grayson wants to win the game. I would have gone Dunc and Honeyman too but happy we're going for it.
Our entire game against Burnley last night was dire with the only quality being fleeting moments from Shelvey. Dyche got the 3 points though and wont give a single **** about it being flat - nor should he. Grayson simply has to get a win or two and soon. I know there's compelling reasons why he will likely be given time and you are probably correct in that regard but the fans generally aren't going to stand for him if he doesn't seem to be bringing anything to the table.
