Grayson seems like an utter halfwit. Coleman I'm not too sure about. I actually feel sorry for Bain. Feel like he carried himself with a lot of dignity throughout and did what he could. Just wasn't enough. My old man featured as tense looking spectator in episode 2.
To be fair i think Grayson conducted himself really well as did Coleman and Bain. Neither are at our club now so it just goes to show the wrong people have talked themselves into a good highly paid job at our club in the past with little output
What I got out of this was that people came to our club looking positive, but that seemed to get swiftly sucked out of them by the utter negativity that seems to be all around the place.. Sadly, after the initial positive atmosphere that was generated earlier this season. you can feel the negativity taking hold again which will probably drive us down yet again..
What makes you say that mate? Barring a few idiots criticising Ross after the Walsall game I think the positivity is still there, by and large.
Fair enough, I live in London so only really make away games these days. Quite embarrassing to see some of the comments on social media when Bristol Rovers scored yesterday.
Just finished watching it. I enjoyed it but there was less insight into what was going wrong and what the cause of the problems were than I had hoped for. I thought Martin Bain came across really well and wasn't the idiot I thought him to be. Simon Grayson seemed like he tried hard but wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Chris Coleman and Kit Symons definitely tried their best and clearly wanted to succeed. They seemed like good blokes and, despite what McGeady was saying seemed to have good ideas and clear plan of what to do. Under different circumstances I think they might have done ok for us. Rodwell definitely came across as an example of the problems we've all thought were present at the club. Grabban wasn't much better. I thought Johnny Williams came across as a nice lad. It's a pity he's not still at the club. Good player with a good attitude.
I thought the whole thing summed our club up, no one stood out as dynamic, its unreal, like an old peoples home. No spark no nowt, just everyone waiting for something to happen. We came across like a Sunday League Club, it's not the manager who's been to blame, Ellis let it all get too comfortable win or lose. Bain looked professional but sharp realised he was p *ssing against the wind. No agent would send a decent player there ? Would you ? We desperately need a commanding Centre Half and we will go up, hopefully we won't capitulate under crowd pressure, we ALL get behind them and enjoy a promotion.
Just finally getting around to watching this now, just about to play Celtic in the pre-season friendly and so far I've watched a handful of players talk about winning the league and they've followed one fan who says they "need" to go up. Two observations: The stadium, fans and facilities look great, it shows the club off well in that regard it really does. Also that title sequence is mint. One question: Given how the season goes, how painful is this? I hadn't realised it was going through match by match and am not convinced i want to actually watch it all...
Wowzer, couldn't remember that Celtic game at all. Feels (with the benefit of hindsite) like the worst team to play. A clearly very good team who people never-the-less would expect a result against. ps. that "**** relationship" lass commenting after the game, I'm not ashamed to say i totally would.
