    He scored a cracking overhead kick in training today “instagram” so I don’t think he lacks confidence.

    Maybes he does on a matchday with thousands of fans watching though.
    Hopefully he'll go on to have a good career and use his time with us as a learning curve moving forward.

    I think he's a talented footballer. We have,what,8 matches left....hope he gets some reward between now and the end of the season.

    Thats a real nice piece from Luke on Joe.... All Joe has to do now is show a performance or two or three on the pitch that matches those kind words from Luke.

    Nothing wrong with a senior pro giving the lad a vote of confidence imo., 1 one goal in 10 would weigh heavily on any striker, let alone one we have yet to see the best of.

    Gelhardt needs to show enough strength to protect the ball but he is never going to outmuscle central defenders. He needs to, and I think he will, work out that he can get the better of defenders with his movement and skill.

    Another goal or two soon like you say and we’ll see a completely different player.

    I ran football teams from under 11 to men’s teams for 15 years had one kid in training was incredible but when he went up against kids he didn’t know was only half the player
    So agree with you
