I never wanted McClaren, don't rate him. Supposedly he's a coaching whizz but I'm not seeing much evidence of it.
Just another piece in the old managerial jigsaw. We may have dodged a bullet by not appointing him, but after saving us DA"s start to the season was starting to look horrendous but at least he baled. SA's appointment may still go tits up but at least we a team of fighters instilled by his toughness. Being wise after the fact all round.
She's been a big jigsaw mate, hopefully we get a bit of stability with SA. I was one of the dumbarses who said mclaren would be good for us lol
. Then again, I think you guys have less baggage than we do. He would certainly do a better job with you than he presently is with us. I know he hasn't covered himself in glory but he deserves time to sort out the mess we are in. Not his fault, defenders were not signed!
Pretty sure it was the Mag consensus that we were the one in trouble. We didn't address our defence either.
Hope you aren't lumping me with them mate. We are both **** although you seem more cohesive at the moment. We both have the same problem. Our good players are, quite frankly, very good. Our bad ones, are simply woeful. I also think we need more NE talent shining through.
