Mr Allam has been accused in the past of relying too heavily on loaning in players. This is exactly what happens when you have players in on loan, they can be recalled at pretty much any time thus unsettling the squad. Mr Allam needs to start spending some money and making players ours rather than borrowing them from other clubs. If you look at the amount of loan players we've got in, they're all a pivital part of our promotion push, that is something we cannot afford to lose. David Stockdale was awesome during his loan spell, now he's gone. David Melyer has been instrumental in our recent run of form, it looks now as though he's going back. Robbie Brady looks safe to stay but is another key example of our loan players adding a huge amount to the squad and the promotion race. Elmo also looks safe, I don't recall any mention of him being under threat of returning to his parent club. All of the above mentioned players are pretty much the spine of our team, yes Aluko, yes Koren and others are massive for us. But we have too many of our key players on the borrow. Spend money in January Mr Allam and make these quality players ours!
