Exactly right. Today's game, on paper at least, is definately one we should be targetting 3 points from. We have a good record against Sunderland, but will we win? Who knows. As a prediction, I'll say Swansea 1 Sunderland 0.
Don't forget, Sunderland also have Defoe now too. The win at Southampton and the return of Ki should give us a huge boost. I'm going for a 2-0 win.
Do you think he'll play? I'm wondering if he'll be saved for Tuesday night to have a bit more recovery time after Australia. We've got a multitude of options now at DM: Britton, Carroll, Ki, Fulton, Cork.
With the return of Ki, the bolstering of the squad with Naughton & Cork, the recent away win against a top-four side with that the Captain's performance, Jonjo in his best position, I can hopefully see the Swans having a welcome lift from it!! Not forgetting, most of the Liberty will be well behind the team, manager & the board, just like this 'board'!! So the confidence to get a result & a good performance too....
Well he said yesterday he's fit and raring to go. If he is, I'd start him alongside Carroll/Leon and switch with Cork after 60 mins. But like you say, we've been weak in the DM department for a on no time. All of a sudden we have 5 players who can play this position.
We 'should' win and the bookies agree. Sunderland are in a little bit of form and Defoe loves playing against us but we have players returning or coming in and we're at home. Our record against them is good as well. But I've been watching footie long enough to know it can be cruel. I take your point that we'll always have those points from St Mary's but I will be very disappointed if we don't beat this lot and will also feel that last week's efforts were wasted because we should kick on now and get a string of good results for once this season instead of the hit and miss stuff we've had recently. It's a personal thing I suppose but I know others that Ive spoken to feel the same.

All games in the premiership is tough no matter who we play. they all throw up different type of problems and its the managers job to predict how the opposition are going to play by watching recent video's of them..No team has the right to expect a certain win and everything is on the day..... 8-0 swans
