The Greener Bit
BBC has the Monday night match as "Postponed" for a reason not mentioned. Anyone know why?

This would give us almost two weeks between the Southampton and United match..
Is that a good or bad thing? Can you have too much rest?

ehhhh called the fa cup. sunderland are in the round and i went a long way to explain WHY we would be tooling about with nothing to do around fa cup time last round when some on here were i don't care if bournemouth beat us.

the city came will almost certainly also be called off as it is on semi final day. I would say we'll be playing both midweeks.

I am quite happy cos monday night is terrible. If sunderland get knocked out we can hope we can play them on semi final weekend.

might give us longer to get the likes of Enrique and Sakho back fit. We really miss Enrique

not sure frank,

when do they play in cup final, maybe that's something to do with it, did hear during there game that if they hada re play it would be played same week as cup final and i think gus said he would rather lose than have a replay as it was silly in cup final week.

too much rest, well it depends on other teams around us whether it turns out a good thing or not, if they win the games they play over that period, they either catch us up or over take, so then puts pressure back on us, good for fitness though obviously and players returning from injury.

Ahhh, of course. Had to be it since no other comp. Bit slow this morning.

The league cup final is the weekend before.

Yeah, since we've limited squad the rest will probably do us good but focus need to be kept. Suppose it'll be fine considering who we'll be playing next.

From the PL:

This fixture was previously scheduled on Saturday 8 March 2014 at 15:00 but was rescheduled due to Live on Sky Sports. However, this fixture will no longer take place on Monday 10 March 2014 at 20:00 due to Sunderland's participation in the FA Cup sixth round. The new date and time is to be confirmed

So? I only said that the club list had not changed - and it still hasn't!!!

sunderland and city games had to be cancelled... every side has fixture put in for 6th and semi finals. these are cancelled and rearranged only if a side form the fixture reaches this round. sunderland are in 6th round and city will be in semi... ergo.. we'll have to rearrange both games.

As sunderland will have a fixture on semi weekend both will end up as midweek games so i hope we can rearrange to break up the two week off scenarios but we'll see. tuesday after 6th round would be ideal <ok>
