Sunderland in talks with Adam Johnson... Update they have signed him

Not convinced about them getting Dempsey, why leave Fulham and living in London for Sunderland.

 

I don't think we'll get Dempsey, strikes me we've all got a bit excited about the AJ deal, and everyone's gone crazy about the next one and this one has been blown up to the point everyone believes it.

We can deduce from AJ's words there's another big player coming in before the deadline, but I personally don't think it's Dempsey.

Strinic & Dawson seem likely, the extra forward could be anyone!

 

Pretty much yeah! We are in a better position than they are. Their owner would like to get to where we are. In order to do that he has to spend big. We are fortunate that we have a cracking squad already capable of a top 8 finish, and we've strengthened it. If we lose one so be it, if we sign a couple so be it. If neither or one of the two happen, so be it. We are not desperate in any position and in a very priviledged position.
