Sunderland Goal of the Season 22/23

Watched this again this morning...did we actually score any scruffy goals last season?

 

Think Pritch bundled one in against Stoke. That's the only one I can think of

 

That was actually a well worked team goal! Roberts and Diallo took the piss down the right hand side (as they do), to put it on a plate for Pritchard

 

To be fair I wasn't really watching by then such was my levels of pissed-offness

 

1. Clarke v Reading
2. Roberts v Watford
3. Amad v Birmingham
4. Pritchard v Huddersfield
5. Amad v Wigan

Not on that list but an honourable mention also to Jewi v Watford, and Clarke v QPR ( I think it was the 3rd goal - his second )

 

We were shocking that day. Those performance are very rare these days, thankfully.

 

Am I wrong? Is it only me that thinks our 4th goal v Hull was FANTASTIC?

 

Forgot about that. It was quality. Loved it, loved that game tbh. Was devastated leaving the ground though, thought we’d blew any play-off chance.

 

Apologies if it has been posted previously, Jack Clarke is a gem and hopefully we keep him for at least another season.

All his goals and assists last season.

 

We were. But it was a bit like the Liverpool V Utd 7-0 game where every shot went in fir them. Still think a lot of our players lost their head with the diabolical refereeing which gave them the first goal

 

Forgot about that. Officials were a joke that day.

 

Absolutely. There’s “making an error” in not seeing or giving something, then there’s completely forgetting the brand new publicised rule where the ball is returned to the team in the location they were in possession!
