We've conceded the first goal of the game in our last three matches now. Thankfully the last two were early enough for us to find a way to turn things around, but I would prefer for us to take the initiative. We need to work on breaking teams down mentally, I'm not liking how confident they look against us.

Can only help mentally to be able to turn it round like that! I'm thankful we're doing it in Nov/Dec where we usually collapse completely. Going to be a very interesting title race, hopefully we can get another 3 this weekend and top the group in the CL within the next 7 days! One game at a time eh.

How are Sunderland at the bottom ?? Tough game, and a bit weird. The back 4 at last got forward and Hazard looked his old self. Mata was playing well if not brilliantly until he got walloped. Lamps the curious mixture of good and bad, as was Ramires who just can't pass !!. Willian looks better each game and exchanged well with Ivan, who looks desperate for a rest. That means Azpi can go back where he belongs , and a proper left back come in. JT and Cahill just don't do the business., painfully slow despite lots of effort. Interesting to see the Luiz haters calling for him to be back !! Cech looks increasingly lazy, sluggish, unmotivated, call it what you may, just no zip at all.
All in all a very good ,hard fought win with still too many players below par. When they all fire, look out. Oh for Yaya Toure or Mesut Ozil, we are desperate for some power and grunt in the middle.

Gus Poyet will definitely keep Sunderland in the Prem! There isn't a team on the planet that could have handled Eden Hazard tonight! Both his goals have to be in contention for goal of the season!
