in fairness if he wasn't a ****** he'd be alright. hes just to stupid to use any talent he has

 

Alongside Woodgate he was top notch as he has a smart partner who kept him right and allowed him to use his fantastic physical attributes. If he had a brain he'd be close to the perfect defender as he's very athletic.

 

Well this thread was going quite well but Ive seen a couple of "5-1"s an "You're going to get relegated" in the last few pages. Come on you can do better than that!

 

Yeah no need for those, otherwise a good thread. I think it's best if we wait to see how the season starts to pan out before deciding who's got the best new players. I would have taken Gardner, not Larsson and wouldn't have paid that sort of money for Wickham. There is a chance our new signings won't adapt to the Premier League so we'll have to see. Ben Arfa's hardly tried and tested in the Prem either. That said, if we make a couple more signings (striker) we could be the surprise package of the Prem this year.
