Probably. In fact I am pretty certain it would be fine considering I wouldn't be causing trouble or owt. Not something I'd want to try though and get other people into (potential) trouble
I don't think he would either. Personally I dinnet give a **** who somebody supports, I speak as I find & although I've never met QWOP he comes across as a ****ing smashing bloke.
Yeah same here mate, I'd have no problem walking in, shaking his hand and putting a pint in front of him. He could be wearing his black and white top for all I would care.
At the end of the day we earned the win. We weren't great for the first hour but after that you guys tired, we created a lot of chances but some poor finishing kept the game alive until the final whistle. It was a strange reversal of last season's match when we hit the woodwork twice and you guys ended up with 2 goals despite only one shot on target, which was a deflection from what I remember. I can understand that it's hard to take losing at the end of the game but it's a 90 minute game and falling apart at the end is no excuse. It was the same with us against Stoke, we were excellent in the first hour and then got worse until the final 10 minutes where we were so bad that we not only blew a 2 goal lead but could've even contrived to lose it. Reading some of the pathetic comments on Mason, you'd think none of your players has ever been sent off before the way you're all so high and mighty about it. Shame as you've always been good for chat in the past. Ah well, I still like Sunderland and hope Kaboul and Defoe do well for you guys
Mason tried to snap Borini's ankle mate, why should we afford him any sympathy. Personally, I don't give a **** if he never plays again.
Fair do's but it was a nasty tackle that should have been punished by the ref, who had a very poor game. We have had a lot of reds and yellows in the last few seasons but apart from a Dossena sending off at Hulll two seasons ago, I can't remember any examples to compare with that Mason challenge.
Behave, even if you think it's reckless you can't honestly think he deliberately tried to injure him. What possible reason could he have had to want to do that? And there's a difference between not showing sympathy and hoping he's seriously injured.
True & I never said I hope he is, I said I don't give a **** if he is. There's a difference there too. Anyway, how you been? Not seen you on here for a while.
If you click the arrow button it'll take you to your post on the last page where you said it. Just incase you think I changed the words I think it's out of order to say that but whatever, you were angry I'm sure. Not too bad, mate, football's a bit mixed but hey, I've seen a lot worse from Spurs. Good to see the Spurs/Sunderland connection's back up again even if you did get Defoe off Toronto. Apologies again for Chimbonda and Bent What's the hopes for this season then? Thought Lens, Defoe and Kaboul all looked good for you yesterday.
We're not hypocrites mate. If one of ours crosses the line we don't blindly defend. We're not high and mighty, we say what we see. http://www.not606.com/threads/dossena.243218/
Yeah, him too. although I wouldn't say dominated. We attacked mostly down the wings, particularly first half but your defence dealt with every cross in well. The final balls in general were a problem for us as they just weren't finding anyone which I think was a credit to your defence and also with the number of our shots that were blocked. Kaboul shone as I thought he led that area well. I know he started badly but if you can avoid him getting taken on one-on-one too often he'll do really well for you.
Fair enough but I'd say Dossena's was far worse, Mason at least was going for the ball and I just don't see how you guys think Mason was being malicious. At worse it's reckless, in my opnion. Mason's just a bit of a 100mph player, everything he does is full speed, he goes into challenges to win the ball and that's it. Agree to disagree it is then
I don't think it was malicious but it was a stone wall red. Always a sucker punch when a player who shouldn't be on the pitch get the winner. It pisses people off and folk lash out. No doubt Dossena was worse btw, that bloke was evil.
