Great as ever RTB many thanks, I’m home for this one really looking forward to it. Gona plump for 2-0 to the lads anyone will do for the goals.
As for this knee lark won’t be booing or approving of it. I dislike racism in sport and all walks of life but a football game isn’t the place for this.

On the knee memorandum, silence is golden , it should be voluntary not orchestrated or imposed imo. One Love.

Great thread again RTB thank you.
If the injury news proves to be correct then it does weaken us in terms of power and physicality in midfield. That said it would be a chance for others to stake their claim to the position. Ill trust whatever team RLB decides to put out. He's shown if he gets it wrong he will change it. A difficult game and I'd just accept the 3 points and keep a big distance from the bottom 3. Haway the lads.

I have to admit, I have a problem with this.

As a decent human being I know right from wrong and don't need to be publicly instructed to respect other people.

I don't appreciate having to listen to an announcement telling me how to behave like I'm a naughty schoolboy.

I won't boo, although I'd want to, because people would automatically think I was a racist.

What I'd actually be booing is whoever thinks I need to be lectured, during my leisure time, especially the Premier League.

These people backed a takeover by a State who have public execution, for trivial offences, enshrined in their laws ...

    ... don't pretend you're 'holier than thou', you're not.

It’ll be boo’d. Not by me particularly, but I’m certain it will be.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Couple of injuries, Wolves still haven't won, but are starting to play better. Lots of pressure on this game before we hit a much harder run of games.

Assuming the injury hints are correct, could this be a possible line up Saturday?

    _______________Roefs

    Hume____Mukiele______Ballard____Masuaku

    ______________Geertrudia

    ___________Xhaka________Le Fee

    Talbi___________Isidor________Adingra

Subs: Patto, 09, Neil, Rigg, Traore, Mayenda, Brobbey, H Jones, J Jones

OR could we go 5 at the back?

    _______________Roefs

    _______Mukiele__Ballard___Geertrudia

    Hume_____________________________Masuaku

    ___________Xhaka__Rigg___Le Fee

    __________Mayenda_______Wilson

Both line ups still have some very very good players and options from the bench imo

As always RLB wont be giving anything away. Would be good to get an update on Cirkin, Alese and Hjelde as they may have a part to play as we rumble into winter

I'd go along with your first selection here.....Except I'd have Rigg for Geertrudia....and Granitt to drop.

Did consider Rigg, but wondered if Rigg and Le Fee would be a little out muscled? Saying that Rigg does play that 10 / second striker role really well.

Edit. Just shows even with 3 possibly out injured we have some great options

He does,...but I worry about him physically in this league. Enzo, not so much,he seems a bit more resilient,.

I get what you mean, he has filled out since last season and still has some growth to go yet.

I cant help get excited when talking about these lads, such good players and committed to the team and cause, seems a shame to have to leave some of them out

Leaving them out is a squad issue.....they'll get their chance.....one of RLB's skills is to how to manage these players. It's becoming a bit like the rugby......send out the starters.....then we'll put in the finishers.

I don't see the issue with it. The sad fact is, there are still a lot of racist football fans. Anything to show them the majority don't agree with them is a good thing. You can say it's an empty gesture or whatever but something is better than nothing, imo. I've never understood what the problem with it is tbh...

I thought I’d made my issue clear tbh, I don’t want to be lumped in with a bunch of racists who’s minds won’t be changed a jot by this knee bending.

Why should I be ‘shown’ anything during my leisure time? Did Oasis bend the knee at their concerts when there’s probably an equal percentage of racists. Do people going to the theatre have to be told not to be prejudiced?

Some people will boo at the SOL which will reflect on the club and people will cry ‘racists’ …

… in reality there’s probably a bigger percentage of racists at the opera.

    Why aren’t they lectured?

Hey man.....there are a huge number of people who have no understaning of racism. They continually confuse it with culturalism. Now,I'm not saying people will base their choices on the basis of skin colour,background,language.....etc.....but,it's not racism to choose to trust, want ,feel comfortable with, and, spend your time with people of your own kind...the communities from other lands have done it here for decades.
What we need to eliminate is our historical perception.

Second line up for me but personally I would like to see O/9 on the left hand side of that back 5 sometime in the game if not in the starting line-up,

Perhaps that’s the problem, not the solution.
