Well I predicted a ridiculous score of 6-2. I need to get more sensible with these scores so GP I have edited it to a much more sensible 5-4 to the cuddlies. Baath, Alese and a JC HT.
Wyke will probably get the opener when it bounces in off his left buttock. I wonder how they will celebrate if they score against us.

Once again RTB thank you. We all appreciate the time n effort you put into this.

I’d play Alese centre back and move O9 to right back. Gooch has been rubbish for 3/4 games now

Looks like it's a colourful one. I assume the banner is his 'but Sunderland got under my skin' comment.

Up far to early again, excited for today's match.

You would think the nerves and excitement would be dimmed after all these years supporting us and especially after the last three games where we have struggled a bit but it's there just like it was when I was a kid going to roker park.

Praying that the lads but on a performance to be proud of, that the atmosphere is bouncing and our young team tear Wigan apart with the fluid football we can and have produced.

    Haway the lads

Very sadly, pessimistic me can't see us scoring. A nice early goal will settle my nerves.

The great quote from the big man I reckon : “I learned my trade at Arsenal, I became a footballer at Manchester City, but Sunderland got under my skin...I love Sunderland.”

There's far more nerves in me than I anticipated. Ever since we've been promoted, I've tried to be a voice of reason, saying anything above a relegation fight is acceptable this season, but my emotional brain has started to take over my rational one. I began to hope after our good start and I'm a little fearful after our recent performances. Today is a key game for us. A good result sees us looking up the table again and a bad result sees us looking down it.
