Brilliant performance that. Was a bit worried first half but we really limited them to next to no chances. Some great individual performances and Xhaka certainly wasn’t on of them but you can see how important he is already. Players constantly looking at him for instruction, he’s talking the whole game.

Ballard was comfortably MOM. What a performance that was. How good does Alderete look? Came on and instantly looked assured and comfortable before swinging one in right on Mayenda’s bonce.

All the lads put an effort in today. Proud of every single one of them and that effort was matched by the fans who were terrific all game.

****ing unbelievable I can’t believe what I’ve just witnessed. If I could single a player out on who was great I would but they were all excellent. The wingers really stepped it up with the intensity of a league game, The lads from last season who stayed in the side showed why they were in it.

Just incredible. The strikers getting the goals will do wonders for them.

I’m over the moon. Xhaka is perfect too as he calms things down

Well what can I say.....
My lad travelled up this morning. If I'd known I'd of gone too FFS.

My stream was abysmal. I gave up with it about ten minutes into the second half at nil nil.

Then I checked the score and it said west ham won 1-0 in 90 + 4 minutes.

Pìssed off and then thought it must have been an early kick off. Checked again 2-0

I'm assuming the first score was an old match thrown up and the second time I looked i didn't look properly and thought west ham got another goal FFS <laugh><laugh><laugh>


Anyway am fooking buzzing. Even if I am a clown <laugh>
