Do we need to have two on a shovel against weaker teams , we should be showing our intent from an attacking perspective and dominating. I appreciate that against the stronger sides we need to be a little bit cautious but against Plymouth and Watford? We should have enough faith in our players to be able to get the job done I just wish RLB would take the shackles off .
I am with you. But the whole team were off it so no judgement on him really. I am really intrigued by the calls for him to be central. I think I understand it, that vision and technique. Is he physically up to it? My only concern with him. If he can use his speed of thought it wont matter, but I can see teams taking it in turns to be all over him. It has to be tried of course, sounds like Mundle is first back, we are desperate for a bit of pace from one of the flanks.
All I can say is we were absolutely awful against Plymouth, and even worse today - we should’ve lost both games IMHO. The atmosphere today was also GASH, and I’m predicting a loss against Luton, as I don’t think the manager is playing to our strengths and giving too much respect to poor opposition. Can’t believe how shocking our defense has become. RLB needs to sort it out. Bart
I totally agree mate. The flip side is putting him in against a Leeds undercooked and costing us big time. I personally would have taken Rigg off first and left Samed to sit as we pushed on given the circumstances.
I don't think we deserved to lose today. We could have easily have won that by 4 had we had our shooting boots.
We could and should have scored 2 very late goals to win it and people will have hailed reggie it is frustrating at the minute but we are missing really big chances
I did. Think that says what I think of Samed so far though. It's just been poor and he has really did nowt to help us now. Not for other top level teams. Us.
It's clear to me that if we want someone to feed quality balls into Isidor he's the man for the job. If they can build an understanding, and I expect they will as Isidor is another intelligent player, we'd really up our chance creation.
Not really sure how that works tbh. In the last month alone we've drawn at Burnley and were much the better team, beaten Sheff Utd when we were the better team and gone to Boro, given them a goal start then beaten them. Not to mention winning away at Derby and beating Portsmouth. We're still unbeaten at home and have scored seven goals in three games. We certainly need to improve but I, for one, believe we will especially when the wingers are back and other players settle in. We're inconsistent but I really can't accept we're getting worse week by week, just doesn't make sense.
I like Regis, so don’t see this as a post digging him out nor calling for his head because it’s far from. The length of time it takes him to make a substitution absolutely infuriates me, I don’t know whether it’s a lack of trust of what options he has on the bench or it’s just his management to now feel pressured into a early change, noticed it since day one and even more so today. Mayenda should have been on 60 minutes in, at least (in my own opinion), I echo what @TheBronzeBummer has said in his post. I don’t think it’s panic stations just yet and think there’s going to be twist and turns in the automatic race but I do think Regis needs to take a look at himself and find ways to improve, Cirkin & Hume are a shadow of their former self since RLB came in and that surely comes down the roles that he has them playing.
I agree with this. Despite his obvious ability and time he creates for himself his final delivery was poor as were most of his set pieces. Mind u he did change things up for the equalising corner
Me and the boyo had a good day today TBH. He sometimes doesn't fancy it but did today. We went for a posh breakie before the game. Seemed to do the trick. Still was ok after it (despite my rage at times) so, it's been good.
