Makes a mockery of the EFL having the goal of the season result when teams still have 2, 3 or even 4 games to play.

I'm still stunned we didn't have at least 1 goal in the shortlist

Tbh, I thought the shortlist would have just been our highlights reel.

Fantastic comeback against a really frustrating ****housing team. You can never give up on these lads. Amad could have nicked it at the end too and those who chose to leave would have missed all the excitement.
Confident we'll win next week, so it's in Millwall's court. Hope Blackburn draw against Luton. If they lose, they can't catch Millwall because their goal difference is ****, so they might just lie down when the two meet. However, If Blackburn beat Luton, the only results that will see us in the play-offs will be a draw between Millwall and Blackburn and a win for us. Unless Boro do us a favour.

Blackburn have had a lot of draws lately. Hope they continue the run in the next 2 games.

East stand and I noticed that there was an obvious lack of enjoyment from Stewart

Not just us. One of the goals in there is a decent bit of skill with an acrobatic kick, there was a far better bicycle kick by another team not shortlisted.
The whole thing is a joke. It’s not a “goal of the season”, it’s a “who hits the best **** which goes in” of the season. And even then it’s a stretch!

Yeah I saw that and I’m more hoping it’s a “wish I’d been able to play a bigger part” rather than anything else. He’s not due back until end of July so I can’t see him leaving

What a day I had yesterday...firstly what a team we've got, never give in its still all to play for.
For me and the grandson it was off to Morecambe to try and save their season...must win home game v Lincoln and hope MKD have a worse result at home against Barnsley.
Well 4.10 pm Morecambe 0-2 playing sh1te, MKD on they're way to a 4-1 lead with less than 20 minutes left.
4.45pm Morecambe winning 3-2, MKD drawing 4-4 and that's how it finished even after 11 minutes added time, the top crowd of the season 5700 are going nuts it's all on the last day next Sunday.
Whist all this is going on I'm glued to my phone willing the lads to get back in the game and they don't let me down.
We were out last night for his Birthday meal straight after the game, he's 16 today, I'm waiting for him outside the ground and I get a text to say his mam has tested positive for covid for the third time and missed the night out....unbelievable Jeff.
Sorry for rambling on but it's only football that gives you days like yesterday.
Keep the faith, see off Preston and fingers and toes crossed for the playoffs and whatever that brings us. So proud to be a fan of SAFC. HTL.

Very good point no one is going to want to sign him in the pre-season window are they!

They were above us so I couldn't see them, but they certainly sounded like there were only a couple of coach loads up there . . . . 117 could well be accurate :emoticon-0112-wonde

It looked closer to 700 than 117.
