I was in the North stand with my 19 year old daughter (her first game if the season due to work commitments). We both thoroughly loved the match, the performance and the undying attitude of the team. However, it was nearly spoiled by some absolute bellends who constantly complained . At the end of the match as they walked out( they did not stay to clap the lads). One turned to the other and said 'why is it they only turn up for the last 5 minutes '. I turned around and just laughed at him. Pricks. Great day all round, loved the performance but more importantly had some proper Dad/Daughter time
amazing we still got the chance of play offs going into last game with all the injuries this season very proud of this young exciting team
I reckon it is Coventry we catch. What a team to beat to the play offs anarl. That goal by Roberts massive.
Indeed we didn’t. Didn’t deserve to draw either. They were the worst team I have watched all season and with a fit centre half of a ref with balls madejof something other than scrambled egg. Definitely a foul right at the end and he completely bottled it
I really like Stewart however, his body seems to let him down and he has missed alot of football this season. Apparently his injury record up in Scotland wasn't great. And while the club and he may be seeing want happens with his contact, you've got to ask the question, do the club want to commit to a player that quite frankly could cost a fortune in wages on the treatment table twice a year? I for one would like to see him stay but we all need to be prepared for the fact of he does stay, and as history tells, he'll be out twice a season and possibly at length. Never the less, to be knocking on the door of the play offs with a game to go after best part of a season without a genuine striker and newly promoted is nothing short of a cracking season.

Looks like he’s absolutely loved his time here, hope we can pull out another gem like him, easier said than done like not sure Elanga is on the same level (was loosely linked a few weeks ago)
Yeah it's worked for everyone. Just hoped that he finished it off with a goal today. Would have been fitting.
In a way it’s good that they scored both their goals from their two corners. It gives us something definite to work with knowing our weak points. If we can stop doing whatever we got wrong on their two corners maybe we can prevent it happening in future. The coaches have something to work on. We didn’t concede from open play. We’ve also had a lot of bad luck. Injuries, poor refs, 50/50 bounces usually going to opposition and some dodgy decisions. I think we are due some good luck to even things out. No matter how this season ends for us the Lads have been magnificent.
I did my back in earlier in the week and was a real doubt to make it. Howver, felt ok today but had to take my daughter to warrington. Left Warrington at 11.00, there was an accident on the M62 and diversions and sat nav got us back to Warrington at 12.00! Ended up going a ridiculously long way to Sunderland but made it to the ground just as they were reading the team out. Had a big grin on my face all the way through - just glad to be there. Team are a joy to watch. I knew we wouldn't lose. Even Mr grumpy next to me didn't spoil my day. Great effort lads - LOVE THIS TEAM!!!
