We can’t go into the play offs flat as a fart. There’s 3 better midfielders than Jones on the bench. Feels like a token gesture to be honest he’s playing with fire putting teams like out when we need to be gaining momentum. Play your best team it’s not hard. Play like we did against Norwich and we might as well not bother turning up mate.

We will finish 4th, for me it’s game management and he’s have a ‘pre season’ to get players match fit and rested for the play offs. And working on getting us tight again, I’m all for it.

Great to see Jones get a start. I hoped he would. Good luck to the lad.

Hoping we get Wilson back among the goals. It feels like the one position on the pitch we need to find form and we will be tough to get past. A firing Wilson will be great to see.

I can't wait to see the lad start ...

... I hope all his family are there to see him step out.

Great thread as usual, just 7 more to do then a well earned rest. <applause><applause><applause><applause>

I'm going for a 3 - 1 win to the lads, with Isidor, Roberts and Rigg on the scoresheet.

    Ha'Way me Bonny Lads.

It's fantastic to see. Thrilled for Jones to get his first league start. I thought he would be miles away when I saw him making benches earlier in the season but he's been tidy every time I've seen him play, even if unspectacular.

I still think people are being too precious about Watson. If Mundle isn't ready for the playoffs, then an on form Watson is a big attacking threat for us. He's not long come back from injury, need to give him a chance to play his way back into form.

Hopefully Rigg's time for a rest will come when Jobe is ready to come back into the 11. No need to risk Le Feé. Just keep bringing him on until he's absolutely ready for 90 minutes.

    3-0 Isidor, Watson, Neil

I think it’s finally dawned on people that we’ve already achieved what half a dozen teams are desperate to do …

… we're two games from Wembley.

    Ha’way the Lads!!!

It was offside but it’s now in the minds of their defence.

This will be a good open game in my opinion …

… we don’t want Sunderland concentrating on a clean sheet above everything else.
