They also play a high so he is the best option to utilise the space that leaves. I think his movement and runs could be ideal for this game.
So , was the coach the cause , had he lost the players, was it style, will confidence return, first time to get an answer to “ what”ll it be like without Ballard “, how will the replacement be, how much do we rely on Clarke - first time to see, what will be crowd atmosphere , can Dodds do what he did last time ?????? And you expect me to cast a vote RTB ? But a brilliant thread as always, thankyou
I don't think this is a game we will necessarily control possession wise, for me it's a prime game for a high press, counter attacking set up. I would like pace in the lineup to beat their high line so a front 3 of Mundle, Rusyn and Ba will do for me. Get the set up right and we could demolish them. 3-0 Mundle, Ekwah, Seelt.
Right ! I’ve had a few scoops with the lads since my prediction and I have to admit I was wrong unfortunately! I’ve been in the company of my best mates and 3 of them are mags, I’ve made myself a promise not to rise to their bait but unfortunately I can’t help myself so I’ve told the mag bastards that I hope they get beat 7-0 and we will win 5-0. So if you could all take my new prediction into account that would be great. Have a great Friday night lads and RTB you are a legend
We’re not keeping clean sheets and despite their recent WLD ratio they’re still scoring and playing okay. 2-1. Rusyn and Jobe.
I’m currently slurping a large glass of spiced rum and coke winding them up on our WhatsApp group. Love the bones off them but come match day they can all kiss my arse. Our lass is slamming all the doors and tutting profusely because she knows I’ll be even worse when I get in tomorrow after the match. Ive told her to iron my Arsenal pyjamas for when I get back from the match and she’s just rolled her eyes and put the rum back in the cabinet It’s very easy to get it back out
Cracking thread as always RTB. Thank you again. No Clarke gives Mundle a chance and hopefully Rusyn on the right. I like your team RTB . I think this may well be the game we give someone a hammering. Yes I know I’ve said it before but we will and I think it will be tomorrow. Ha,way lads let’s get back to a positive happy weekend. Keep the faith lads and lasses tomorrow’s the day.
Tony Blackburn has just played wise men say, can't help falling in love on BBC r2. It's a sign I tell you
Sun is out and looks like a lovely day for football, few beers with the branch and meeting my auntie and cousin before the game as usual. Roll on 2 o clock when the team is announced, got a feeling Dodds will have something different planned. Hoping we get stuck into them, don't let them settle and press them high up the pitch. Haway me bonny lads
All of a sudden this has become an exciting game with players coming in many are looking forward to seeing. The tactics and starting line up will set the tone and I think the atmosphere will be much better than it could've been with Beale. Mundle, Rigg, Aouchiche, Seelt, Rusyn are talented dynamic players who can give us some energy and a boost. I had a hint that the defence may not be what we're probably expecting ... can't wait for 2pm.
I am heading out early ish for this one. Missed the last game with been away from work. Be sipping the Irish oil from 11.00am. Probably get some decent bait somewhere before hand, maybe Angelo's.
It's a possibility isn't it? I just get the feeling Hjelde has been brought in as a Ballard replacement and is only covering left back temporarily. If Hume plays left back, Seelt right, in a back three that would confirm it although I doubt Dodds would be quite that radical. Whatever the case all of our defenders seem willing and able to get up the pitch. If O'Nien plays in midfield that would mean Jobe as the striker imo ... ... but how do you get Mundle or Aouchiche on the pitch?
Keith Stroud the ref, get your yellow card bets ready! Have a feeling this will be O9 last game before a suspension.
