Options to replace Clarke https://www.si.com/soccer/sunderlan...unq79oUy-EqfGhKBiVeays0AKtoZ3-GkWqGvzp3ZcxDck
That's fine but nothing we don't already know ... ... I posted this yesterday and said we'd been training with Rusyn and Mundle out wide. Ba has already played there so that would be no surprise. Seelt will be the big surprise if what I've been told is correct.
I’m going for another Dodds masterclass when he took charge against Leeds there was a lot of doom and gloom but he got it spot on. I really think the players will react well to be allowed to play again. Beales tactics were stifling. 2-0.
Maybe because it is true. I wouldnt go believing too much of what the internet journalists tell you. There was no dressing room revolt against him, there wasnt a queue of players wanting rid of him, in my opinion anyway. Fans tend to whip up news that isnt there when things are going well. That happened here. Neil has played under 4 or 5 coaches now, he is experienced, and there is every chance he is telling the truth. Noticeable he says nearly all, no doubt the ones that didnt werent playing, always the same story there mate.
It's unusual for first team players to 'like' posts saying their boss has been kicked out of their job tbh.
I was going to be silly and predict 8-0. Realised I was being foolish so going for a much more sensible 6-0. Personally think the unprofessional tw*ts just didnt want to play for Beale after TM, which incidentally I find abhorent, and will be back to normal this week playing fast flowing football. If the injury rumours are true I so hope the players brought in step up to the plate and make it difficult to leave them out. Cheers once again RTB.
I only saw posts liking an article welcoming Dodds as a replacement for Beale. Am i missing something? Sorry if there is something else but otherwise folk are jumping to conclusions to suit an anti Beale agenda.
You are mate but it's not good time for me to be searching for it ... ... basically players liking a post about his departure.
No worries mate. Like I say if I am wrong I hold my handa up. All I have seen is players liking an safc arrticle saying Dodds was taking over from Beale. The headline was Dodds. Those that wanted to beat up on Beale took an angle and assumed what the players likes were for. It was petty at best. Something more concrete is different and we can challenge Dan Neils statement.
Players were definitely liking a post that said that Beale had left and Dodds had taken over. The Echo describes it here- https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...-beales-departure-and-mike-dodds-news-4524948 I interpreted that as the players liking the Dodds taking over element. Admittedly, it's a bit ambiguous and people can, and will, read it either way to suit their opinion. Personally, I can't see players burning their bridges like that. Football, like the sector I work in, is a small world and you never know when you're going to bump into someone again. It could also be a bit like I said about my non-league club the other day- I like everything they put on Twitter purely out of a sense of duty.
Just wanted to say thank you again for the match thread @RTB and also haway me bonny lads. Put the week behind us and 3 points please
