Well I got the response I was expecting and that's fair enough.
Don't get me wrong whats not to like about what is happening with our club at present, I'm not even worried about historical let downs as this is something we haven't seen for decades and long may it continue.
    Enjoy the ride lads.

    Oops wrong thread.

Totally agree mate and we just need to get some of the negativity dispelled and I believe we will start to realise what we were dreaming of only a short time ago

Exactly what I do, we are always the last out of our seats in our part of the East Stand because we stay to show appreciation to the players, win lose or draw.
We don't exactly get a free run home but traffic on Wessington Way is moving ok, and once we get to the A19 north it's moving freely and the Tyne Tunnel isn't a problem.

Utilita Performance of the Week: Sunderland AFC

The League Managers Association’s panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Chris Hughton, Rachel Yankey, Les Ferdinand, Clare Tomlinson, Dave Bassett, and Barry Fry has determined that the Utilita Performance of the Week Award should go to Sunderland AFC for their performance against Southampton on Saturday the 2nd of September.

Sunderland AFC manager, Tony Mowbray, will receive the Utilita Performance of the Week trophy.

    Match Report

A convincing win at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland AFC came out 5-0 winners against Southampton in the Sky Bet Championship.

A quick start from the Lads saw Jack Clarke head home Trai Hume’s header after 52 seconds before Pierre Ekwah made it two with a long-range effort just five minutes later.

The French midfielder had his second and Sunderland’s third of the afternoon just before the break with another superb individual effort before Bradley Dack grabbed the fourth three minutes into the second half with a close-range finish.

I was there, we were brilliant as was Bosnich. Ron Atkinson said afterwards it was the most one sided game he’d ever seen, and he meant us.
