Just got to love TM enthusing about his young charges, you can see there probably hasn't been a single game that he's sent his team out to do anything other than to enjoy their football and show off their undoubted skills. How he handled the 09 question was a classic. He's sending the lads out to play their football and see where it takes us....just as it should be. Big fan of TM.
Your talking about one of my all time favourite Sunderland players there, never met his wife, but Claudio was a bit special, evidently there was jealousy of him at the club at the time, and he was not welcomed as he should have been, I wont mention who but having met one or two of them I quite believe it could have been the case. Shame as he was a great player and he proved himself that in the best way possible. A true legend.
Only we could lose a player for 2 months with concussion and then lose his replacement for the season. You really couldnt make it up sometimes with us and the endless list of injuries we seem to constantly get. Cirkin has missed more games than hes played this season.

Missed a couple of weeks on here, obviously a couple of poor results but what a breath of fresh air Sunday was! Optimism renewed in many it seems. Tough game again tomorrow night but one for me that suits us. Boro are going like a train so the pressure is really on Sheff United not to drop any points otherwise they'll be caught. That means they surely have to come and play and that suits us down to the ground.
I can see him not playing at all for the remainder of the season. With nothing more to play for, there is no point risking him and his health.
