The problem is perfectly highlighted here.

People are outraged and make demands including removing the owner, chanting against the club before a big local derby, demanding the owner is brought before a fans court, etc.

Anyone seen as 'downplaying a shocking situation' becomes the target pro tem.

When the situation becomes clearer the club are accused of lying again, this time to cover up the cover up and the conspiracy merchants will take their turn at the trough.

When it turns out to be a load of bollocks people don't come back to say they were hasty ...

... they just find a new reason to moan or rehash a previous moan.

All this two days before a fkn derby <doh>

Was mentioned on RTG a few times. It’s been known about, of course it has. Club has ****ed up, massively.

I got quite a shock this afternoon when our house started to rumble. Then i realised it was just someone stamping their little feet again.

You coming to the protest :emoticon-0102-bigsm

In all honesty I hope that is the case, still took a while for anyone to notice mind if it was a sneaky contractor. This has blown up so much because of the carry on over the allocation and them getting the black cats bar in the first place. Bad PR tends to snowball like this.

The mistake will be the signature on who signed off on it.

It's not some random dude with random designs that fit exactly.

Whoever signed it off , P45 will do.

    Latest news
A Newcastle United contractor came in put some signs up turning the black cats bar into a Newcastle United themed area then they posted the pictures.

The club were notified of the signage and ordered them to be taken down immediately.

Do you think they’re photoshopped? Obviously retract and apologise criticising the club if they are photoshopped, has been reported they’re genuine though.

They are not. Sunderland fans took the photos. They were helping shift some of the gear and took the photos.

The signs fit perfectly and have been signed off. Fitted and people have kicked off.

    Calm down man.

You really want a bloke, or several people, to lose their job for something that, in another industry, wouldn't even merit a written warning.

Social media didn't force KLD to have the signs taken down but may just have been why it was brought to his attention.

Feet stamping may make people feel better but it's only viral in their own minds tbh

It was also reported it was KLD who paid for the decoration. I would honestly believe the mags board for facts before I’d believe some of the lads on here.

And what about getting the club fined for printing the wrong tickets?

It's a gross error in judgement that has caused the employer significant embarrassment across national media. Yes. A P45 is warranted in this case.
