Can't argue with the result, we created nothing all game. Aside from about 10 minutes after the goal (when you looked to be pushing for a 2nd) and the expected few minutes at the end (when we attempted to push for an equaliser) both teams looked more comfortable at the back but lacking some quality going forward.

ExG is a flawed measure but I think both teams having low figures 0.29 v 0.25 tells a story. It was a cagey affair which was presumably horrible for a neutral so the only thing that matters from such games is getting a good result over the line. You achieved that and we didn't so fair play. It wasn't unfair, unwarranted or unexpected so can't imagine anyone having any complaints at the end.

We move on, have a nice Christmas, I'm sure this will help!
As it Xmas soon,

All the best marra.

What a game - hardly a chance at either end, but absolutely riverting.
Nothing on earth like our derby matches for pure emotion

But l’ve got to pick out two players:

1. Big Dan Ballard is growing into a modern Charlie Hurley and l am old enough to remember and loving to watch him in action.

2. Mukiele had his best game so far - he was both IMMENSE and INSPIRING today - my M.oM.

i tell you now no one on that pitch as good as what gary Rowell was, mind you waltemade ? a legend after today ! not the best derby (1990) but 10 undefeated now in the league amazing when you think we have been a yoyo team for years but the tide has turned and Jan will be big transfer wise, if we could beat Everton in the cup as well you never know.

Well done lads just well f--king done. Hearts the size of lions. Loved every minute of it. As for the winner what a header why spunk 70million on a striker when you can borrow your neighbours. :emoticon-0136-giggl Absolutely magnificent performance. The back 4 and keeper top drawer. Xhaka unbelievable quality. What a day. Biggest German own goal since invading Russia..

Xhacka is our best signing, a legend...I hope he manages the club when Reggie is finished (in 10 years time). But **** me...Roeufs is ridiculously good. The fact it's a close call for best buy tells you everything. Sadiki and Mukiele sitting on the sidelines screaming we're mint too...and they're right.

Club is in the best state of my lifetime, facts...me fatha agrees and he's far from a sunshine and rainbows kinda guy.

While I agree that Xhaka is the signing of the Summer, I want to give a massive shout out to Roefs. Not just today, but so far this season. Today, some important catches from crosses, and he ran about 15 yards to collect them. Absolutely no s**t thrown toward Patto, but I doubt we would be where we are without Roefs.
