So just another dodgy Ref sent by the EFL to test our patience, let's hope he has an off day and excels for a change.

It's a great point he makes. It's not surprising that our defenders are looking so good. They face a tougher challenge in training every day than they do in games.

It shouldn't be as much of a problem as it is with Bennette at least, because half of our squad speak French so the messages should be able to get across to him.

Said they should do that about three months ago but better late than never. Maybe they were biding their time to get the legendary Julio on board.

We've had some absolute dickheads this season, I think he was the ref when we drew with Peterborough, a complete arseclart

I know it's not just my bias because a Liverpool mate always rings for a chat after watching our game or theirs. I never mention the referee unless he does and he nearly always asks wtf?

    A bit harsh.
Reading used to be pretty grim but it has improved a lot since I've been living down here, the Oracle and surrounding area by the canal is pretty decent to be fair,
the old part of town around the Abbey ruins and the old market place near the Town Hall is good too, there is even a full size replica of the Bayeux Tapestry in the museum. <laugh>
They have a Mackem brewery too

Up until the 70's Reading was known as ‘Biscuit Town’ because of the fame of Huntley & Palmers biscuits. Reading Prison was nick-named ‘the biscuit factory’ because of its close proximity to the factory and Reading Football Team were known as the ‘Biscuit Men’.
The accent is probably due to the influx of cockney east-enders at the end on WW2.
The Stadium is miles from the city centre but it's probably easier to get to than the old Elm park was. <cheers>

I get the feeling, especially when we are on tv and at the SOL, that most of the refs try and make the game all about them.
