I get in the Hilton now. A tad more expensive but nice to sit in the soft play area then straight into the ground.

Never thought I'd say this but Reading away was one of my best ever away trips ...

... had to work on my birthday, arrived too late to meet the lads for a drink in town. Simms went down leaving us without a striker and we had some absolute bellends in the exec box above us.

But I was with Grumpy Old Man in the ground and witnessed some of the best football I've ever seen us play ...

... taunted the exec box tossers so much they went inside and we never saw them again <laugh>

Lower bowl very close to selling out. Decent chance they open up a block or 2 in the PC tomorrow morning…

I don't think O'Nien or Pritchard start I don't see who would get dropped or why. Harsh on them but not as harsh as it would be on the player dropped.

Cracking match thread again RTB as always and thanks again for your efforts. Hoping for a comfortable home win and would be nice to get an early goal to force the visitors out a bit. We will hammer a team shortly hopefully it's tomorrow. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Reading have conceded the most goals away from home in the league. Let’s go and win this one Sunderland…

We've got 5 games in a fortnight and most of them very winnable. Mowbray will have to rotate his team wisely to try and rest a few important players and still pick up points. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ekwah and Pritchard feature alot more in the coming fortnight.

Just found the Vaux taproom, behind the McDonalds in the Tesco car park. Great beer and good pizza. Give it a go and support our local brewery and the lads on the same day.

Not much more to add really I agree there’s no starting place for 09 or Pritchard purely on the form of the young team going for a home win 2-1 to the lads oh by the way thanks for another great match day thread COME ON

I have to admit to having a little respect for the Reading fans tbh ...

... it must be soul destroying traipsing around following such a dull pointless club

They stadium is too big for them, stuck way out of town on wasteland and so quiet you can hear the traffic on the M4. The town is dreary and the locals are weird yokels with pretendy Cockney accents. They have the very creepy Paul Ince in charge and admire Tony Mowbray so much they named their forum after his favourite biscuits. Incidentally did anyone know Mowbray's club nickname, as he always has a cup of tea with his biscuits, is Dunc ...

... just a bit of ITK for you there :)

Great thread as usual @RTB Thanks for your ongoing sterling efforts.
I think we will beat these but it might be tighter than many think.
    2-1 Ballard and Amad.

Apparently we have an absolutely sh*te referee this afternoon. Already been sacked from VAR duties and is notorious for fkn up with decisions. Be prepared lads.
