If only we can channel all this negativity and infight into supporting the lads even if we ain't playing well.

These young lads need us more than we need them!

It’s not weak moderation, repeating the same negativity puts a lot of people off.
Go back and look at your last posts over a 3 minute interval man <doh>

I have more faith in these young lads than I had in the below, yet they found a spark and made it all happen.

After a little bit of reflection and reading through this thread I do wonder, have I been dreaming or did we just finish fourth in the league?
Was I disappointed with the game yesterday? Yes I was, the performance lacked intensity and desire, was everything ****? No, we finished without injuries or red cards and showed a few glimpses of what we’re capable of.
Do we need a better performance on Friday? Yes.
I am an optimist, I wouldn’t, no, couldn’t travel to the games if I wasn’t. Coventry are there to be beaten and I won’t accept that we can’t do that before we even try, like some seem to.

As many have said before, here and elsewhere, form is temporary, we have the talent, we now need the players to perform at the top of their game. As the optimist, I will be there to cheer them on (if I can get a ticket).

Listening to Dean Ashton on talksport yesterday. He said when you have nothing to play for it doesn’t matter what the manager says. You just don’t have the same “effort” or “drive” on the pitch. Players would have their own chats and just say “**** it I’m not getting injured”. I’m not saying it’s right, but that’s a former player talking, and one who played in the modern, big money era. None of the 4 play off sides are on great form looking at recent results. Yes we’re the worst but now the players have something to play for. No injuries, pretty much a full squad for Friday. Mundle back in action!

I stayed to clap them off. Regardless of the end, it has been a fantastic season.

Yeah they are. If people could debate like adults and not attack genuine authentic views of how we see it going, that would be great.

Instead it's the same pile on of the cult, brigade just attacking any view.

That's why moderation is there. To balance it out not join in and have sneaky likes. It's the same 4 or 5 too. I would say grow up but they are probably all older than me, just really poor adult behavior.

Just for a bit of balance
Who genuinely saw us qualifying for the playoffs so easily at the end of last season?
It has been a successful season. It may even get better.
Yeah I accept that there have been disappointments, but that's football, you can't win every game.
We are 3 games away from promotion, all the bitching and moaning cant change that fact.
We might not go up but we have given ourselves the chance to do so.
Let's see what happens and try to enjoy the ride.

Sadly this thread has now become a joke... We are potentially only a few weeks away from potentially becoming a premier league team....and the usual suspects are out in number whenever we get beat to disrupt everything. seriously, get a life......Its only football, teams get beat, teams win...it happens, who gives a s hit who leaves a stadium early...its their choice...it doesn't make them less of a fan. Jesus....get behind these lads instead of petty meaningless arguments

    This.

The youngest squad in the league which has been handicapped with injuries all season have gone from 16th to 4th in 12 months

I personally think a lot of the negativity is because the mags are on the up and have won something.

I'll dip out as Gordon will be along to blame it for the thread closing.

    I don't want that.

Why not. You deemed it necessary to state that you were surprised I was there into a thread about this game , when I said I was looking forward to it and taking my son. After all, we are in " play off mode" playing full strength at home, nearly sold out, last game of the season.
