Exactly mate, of course it was disappointing but not half as bad as being thrashed 3-0 at home to Hull ...

... I'm absolutely sure the team won't give up even if some supporters do.

    So what?

Burnley have three draws in the last six league games ...

    ... we only have two.

Random facts are just .... err, random.

What have Burnley got to do with it? They’re above us with a game in hand and have just stuffed Plymouth

My point was it’s another draw, which is poor when you look at the opposition

Sheff Utd 10 points from 7 games.
Burnley 9 points from 5 games
Sunderland 11 points from 5 games.

I love when people pick random game frames to suit their narratives

for me you either go off the 5 game form table which it’s always been. Or the full season.

    Not random intervals

And my point is that not all draws are bad ... like the one at Burnley or the one at home to Leeds.

Exactly ...it took Burnley the previous 6 games to equal the 5 they scored against Plymouth.

You can pick and choose facts to suggest anything ...

... Coventry have the best form in the last three games, so what we're 17 points above them.

QPR have the best form in the Championship over the last 5 games, so what?

Did you see how many predicted we’d stuff them? Anyone who watches us regularly should’ve knew that wouldn’t be the case.

'Predictions' on a harmless chat forum, made as much from hope as expectation ...

... should never be confused with piling on hundreds of pounds in a bet.

The two things are entirely different.

I'm predicting we'll win at Boro based on little apart from hope and blind faith.

Surely the club should be expecting a top 2 finish, hardly an unrealistic expectation

Ah should've realised! Forgot you still got a beef with the club! So where should the club aim for then? Try to sneak into the playoffs? Middle of the Championship? League One?

So if we don't finish top 2 has RLB failed and not met the clubs expectations?

We have a very good first 11 but squad wise I think we are just outside the top 2. I think we are about right in terms of current placing.

Shouldn't every team try to get into the top 2 at the start of the season? Yes it may not be realistic for some but if you don't aim for automatics then what does a team aim for?

It's not as straight forward as that tho

The aim should 100% be top 2 and promotion but sometimes a team will fall short of that - doesn't mean it was a failure

Our squad is imbalanced imo and injuries haven't helped. I know they impact most squads but def unlucky to have both LM get injured in a few weeks of each other

We would all be raging if the club weren't aiming for a top 2 finish, not sure how that makes them arrogant

Not saying we shouldn't aim for it. We definitely are and I think what Bob is trying to say is that Speakmans expects this squad to finish in the top 2.

I am asking if we don't, has RLB therefore failed ?

I think from this position it's a failure if we don't at least get to the playoff final.
