Interesting line up. Shocked to see Samed starting but don't mind Rigg and Mayenda having a breather and being impact subs. I'm guessing Samed sitting deeper will allow Jobe and Le Fée off the leash to just think about attacking.
Looking at that starting 11, its so flexible with regards to formation, other teams wont have a clue how we are going to play
Great thread as usual @RTB, love your matchday threads. Can't see past a comfortable home win tbh, I'm going for 3 -1 to the lads with Isidor, Jobe and ELF on the scoresheet. Ha'Way me Bonny Lads.
Not really a fan of the double pivot especially in a game like this so hopefully it’s not that, I don’t think it will be like because it doesn’t make much sense against the worst team in the league. Interesting to see how Neil and Samed will work in this one like Samed is the natural DM but Neil’s playing there every week
I think they'll take turn about going box to box tbh - Jobe will get more licence to get into the box and play higher up the pitch The great thing is we have the subs to change it if its not working
Excellent RTB, thankyou , real commitment ! Again, in times gone by we would worry that a day when we have opportunity to gain on rivals by simply beating a lowly team , would end up in an uncomprehensible poor performance and blown chance. However, this is today with RLB keeping them right and a bunch of players who des[pite being so young , seem to have heads on them to know how to do the job. If Plymouth had say drawn last week, this could have been the time we finally drub someone well, but they will be primed to do better and so think we'll need to settle for a grinding 2-0. I'll take 1-0 also, but don't want to be biting the nails at the end!
Not much point in having a centre spot then. Why did he have to move ball off the spot? Won't advantage at all but a bit odd
