SAFC certs same sentence = nope . To be honest like you I am confident but expecting a high scoring game decided by 1 goal.
Fancy us today, think the wind might spoil the game a little, we tend to keep it on the grass so hopefully we shouldn’t be too disrupted by it. I’m heading down soon to meet friends & family so probably won’t be too involved in the thread, I’ll go for a 2-0 win Thanks once again RTB, as always a class thread, just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas as well, I will be busy now and won’t get on here too much
Great, that means the bloke near me might refrain from constantly repeating "I wouldn't trust Patterson with our lasses shopping list" every time he kicks the ball. I doubt it though. It doesn't even make sense.
Nobody in this division is. They’ve gained 7 more points than us and have a better GD, though. Like I said, I wish we were that ‘lucky’.
I definitely wouldn't class them as lucky, they have been fortunate that a few poor performances haven't been punished tho If there performances don't improve they will start to drop points, I could see them strengthening in Jan as dont think the squad is that good outside of 13/14 players
I’m still hoping they lose Hamer next month Anyway, onto our game. I’d like an early goal today, really get us going
people have been saying Sheff Utd aren’t playing well and will drop point all season, and we’re half way through. For me they just have much better players than everyone else. They should be even further ahead than they are with a proper manager. what will happen is they’ll go up with wilder and sack him by November when they’re bottom of the premier league again
I get that, eventually you'll get punished for poor performances tho. Now it might not make any difference to them as they might open up a gap before then They have 2 or 3 real difference makers at this level and players like Hamer will provide more x factor moments than any other player Anyway tough game for us today, need to be on it to get the 3 points today
Last home game of 2024, and @RTB I would just like to say Thank You for all your matchday threads, you really do set the scene. I'm going for a 3 - 1 home win today, and fancy Roberts to notch again. Isidor is due one, and Rigg with the other. Ha'Way Me Bonny Lads.
