I was/am hoping their coach crashed on the way home and their No7 got a leg amputated. The cheating c*nt. Thought we made hard work of it today but we got there. PS, drunk or not yes I meant it what a cheating c*nt their No 7 was.
Have to say, after all the games against Norwich in my time, that team is a poor reflection of the club and community. They have always been an attractive side, who come to play, and live or die on performance levels. Today was a poor look and I am really disappointed if that is what their young bright coach is serving up.
Watched the last 30 mins on my phone in a bar in the Bernabeau stadium. They love Bellingham in Madrid. I was dying to show them what his brother just did at the stadium of light
It was ****er Sainz! Who, in case you didn’t realise, is a ****er!!! Hate players like him. Undoubtedly talented but so entitled! Utterly ridiculous the way he went on from start to finish
Regis le Bris!, take a bow. This is utter brilliance https://x.com/b1gcars0n/status/1870520684625244340?s=61
Dunno what's happened to Norwich, they were a decent footballing side not long ago at all. Embarrassed themselves today, and got nowt for it.
couldn’t agree more. I have a soft spot for Norwich (I was brought up there) but they disgraced themselves today. Ecstatic when we won. I thought the switch of Mayenda & Roberts was a good one. I thought Dan Neil played well. Rigg had some class moments. Jobe just can’t be bullied.Mepham was class and our fighting spirit is unquestionable. Yes I know there were some negatives but I like to dwell on the positives and get as much enjoyment out of the game as possible which is why I moved seats late into the first half because of the **** commentary going on behind me.
In the ground I didn’t realise how good Jobe’s goal was. Wow he’s class and we’ve scored some absolute belters this season.
I’ve done 18/22 games so far this season. That’s more than the usual for me but I must admit - it’s been worth every penny/bit of time. Superb watching these (mostly young) lads fighting for every ball. I’m a boring negative ćunt for the most part but I love the lads really Bring on Blackburn.
I said earlier in this thread that I have a soft spot for both Norwich and Ipswich due to my army days and serving with a local regiment. I honestly thought that the Norwich team I watched yesterday though were a million miles away in class from the decent sides I remember.
Morning all, I would like to refer you to post #400 yesterday. I was drunk when I wrote this post. Now that I have sobered up and reread my post I was wrong. I should have said both legs amputated below the knee . What a horrible tw*t that that No7 was. All he did was cheat and get players booked.
Not the best performance but 3 points if your not playing well is great. I think it's time for mayenda to play up top and rest Wilson. He just offers more than Wilson at the minute. Disappointed with Norwich never seen them like that dirty cheating at any opportunity. Poor ref also let it develop and eventually he starts to lose control. Thought subbing onien was a good move already on a yellow. A few shaky moments at the back but 3 points the main thing . Good cameo from adil and thought neil jobe and Rigg all played very steady. Still on the tails of the leaders and a nice gap opening to 7th. Looking forward to Blackburn should be a great atmosphere.
Same, didn’t register him going back across his man before he struck it. Amazing composure. Happened so quick in real life though, if that makes sense.
This is the massive thing this season. We haven’t played well in a load of games and got results. It’s a long time since we had a side that did that, I’m talking Reidy years. A few including myself have said Sheff United look really average, but they get it done. It’s massive the spirit and attitude in the side that we get games over the line. Late equalisers and winners are a massive pointer to the togetherness and belief in a squad.
