cheers again RTB... turned into a canny game that, much prefer this 'second half team', another blustery wind to battle against so was never going to be a classic but credit to both teams, they tried to play it about, pretty much a 50/50 first half but never really felt under pressure second half. ref was dreadful to be honest, should have stamped down harder and maybe saved himself handing a few cards out plus those 'fouls' against our lads were a joke, the super heaveywieght pair of riggy and paddy throwing thier players down yet they got away with full on blocking and at least three hand balls add the bad offside calls from the lines...could and should have been handled better. Jobe gets my MotM, yeh he cocked up with a couple of runs but did well to recover, but mainly for the goal, never lashed at it, took a turn and slotted it in nice.
poor first half bad defending for there goal good response second half deserved win hopefully another 6 points coming up in the 2 away games looking forward to going to both
Pretty grim that, mainly thanks to the conditions and our insistence on over hitting passes, but we defended well and took the goals well. Ref was a bit of a joker but he made the right call sending the bloke off. Wasn't sure how they'd react after going 2-1 down, by playing for the 2-1 apparently. Thought Norwich were ****e, too interested in conning the ref to play football. We deserved the three points.
Some save from Patto at the end mind. He’s not been great but he does pull off some really quality stops the lad. Credit where due.
I’ve always had a soft spot for both Norwich and Ipswich. I was attached to the Royal Anglian Regiment for nearly four years and based in Colchester. As the name suggests they recruited from that area. To be honest it was the best years of my time in the army and I’d go and watch both teams with some of the lads in the battalion.
It won't happen but I'd start Aouchiche on the left and try Mayenda through the middle. Isador has gone well off the boil.

not great first half and their goal came form them changing corner taker and roberts switching off and retreating rather than continuing to mark the close option second half we were much better and deserved it for me even before they went to 10. Dug deep, ground it out and some bright moments of quality, i really liked Mayenda today. I'd love some football guru to explain Norwich to me mind, as if another Pep clone, keeping the ball deep and trying to work it out, they avoided calamity but they hardly routinely escaped the press and regularly lumped it out of play. Few technical players in their side and just think if they wanted to play 20 yards up the pitch they would have threatened more. Glad we dont play like that, we want to go forward immediately from our half and get into theirs and then we'll start knocking it around. Sad it last week have to trust the gaffer to make the right calls, we're doing unbelievably well, play with an identity and a plan, don't give up and navigated our poor patch with draws not losses. Please get to January, double down in the market and we're golden.
